Balancing Stick

You Need:

Yard stick or broom stick


1. Hold out your arms and stick out your fingers. Have your hands about two feet apart.

2. Put the yard stick on your out-stretched fingers.

3. Slowly, bring your fingers together as the stick rests on your fingers.


What you should see happen is the yard stick automatically shifts its weights so that it maintains a perfect balance on your fingers. You should be able to bring your fingers all the way together while the yard stick perches acrobatically on top!
